Hogsback Brewing introduces Alohog Coconut Pale Ale!

hogsback_alohog.jpg
Alohog Coconut Pale Ale is spectacular summer beer infused with a hint of toasted coconut… just perfect to enjoy on a hot day. The beer pours a clear golden colour, with the aroma first hinting of the delicious coconut within along with sweet pale malt, citrus and some piney hops. The taste is malty then citrusy then a lovely coconut flavour finishes the beer off ending mildly dry and slightly peppery. Mouthfeel is light to medium body and smoothly sweet with medium carbonation. Overall this beer is balanced, smooth and exceptional for summer quaffing.

A luau-themed launch party for Alohog will take place on Saturday June 29th at 3:00 PM on the patio of Hooley’s Pub  (292 Elgin Street, Ottawa). The event will also feature a pig roast, with a dinner & pint special available starting at 5:00 PM.

Hope to see you there, Cheers!
